About Professional Piano Tuning and Service |

Professional Piano Tuning and Service was established in August 2005 by Austin Jaquith. Austin moved to Bloomington to do DM in composition at Indiana University. During his Master’s degree at the University of Houston, Austin spent 14 months apprenticing as a piano technician with the head technician at UH, Avery Todd. In addition to working at UH, Austin also worked at The Piano Store as a technician. Here in Bloomington, in addition to working as a private tuner, Austin also works part time for the IU piano shop. As well as being a composer and piano technician, Austin loves to play the piano and is studying it as an instrumental minor.
